Kelsey George, MSW, LSW
Kelsey George, a licensed social worker, works with children ages 5 and up, teens, and adults, offering compassionate care to clients as they navigate life’s challenges. She is especially passionate about grief work, supporting individuals and families in processing loss and finding healing.
Kelsey earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wagner College and her Master’s degree in Social Work from New York University. With a foundation built on empathy and expertise, Kelsey helps clients address a wide range of concerns, including emotional struggles, life transitions, and personal growth. Kelsey’s approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, connection, and community. She believes in creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard and valued. Kelsey is committed to walking alongside her clients as they build solutions, discover resilience, and move toward greater well-being. Kelsey recognizes that loss comes in many forms—not just death—and provides compassionate support for navigating the grief of life’s many transitions, including relationship changes, family structure changes such as divorce or the loss of a parent’s daily presence, career shifts, unfulfilled personal expectations, and other challenges that come with loss. Kelsey also works with clients who are being seen for other concerns, as well. Kelsey accepts Anthem and Aetna insurance, as well as self-pay options. |
