Kara enjoys working with a wide range of individuals, including children 5 years old and up, teens/young adults, as well as adults. Kara earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Concordia University Wisconsin. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree from Lewis University. Kara currently holds an Illinois and Indiana Social Work license. Kara specializes in working with individuals who are struggling with or are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions/adjustments, as well as grief and loss.. Read more>>

Nathan Guth, MSW, LSW

Associate Therapist
Nathan specializes in supporting adults, young adults, and couples navigating life’s challenges and relationship struggles. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and his Master’s in Social Work from IUPUI. With years of experience working with youth and young adults, Nathan has guided clients through pivotal moments such as transitions to high school or college, breakups from long-term relationships, and difficulty in relationships or marriages.
Nathan has a deep understanding of the unique stressors and anxieties faced by adults and brings a calming, empathetic presence to each session.

Associate Therapist
Maya specializes in supporting teens and adults at various stages of life who are navigating stressors, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, body image challenges, and self-esteem concerns. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Michigan State University and her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Maya is a licensed social worker in Indiana, bringing her expertise to clients with care and dedication.
Maya’s therapeutic approach is warm, affirming, nonjudgmental, and inquisitive. She combines empathy, advocacy, and clinical skills to tailor her support to each client’s unique needs.

Christine is here to support you through life's toughest moments. Specializing in anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management, she brings genuine understanding and empathy to her practice. Christine works with older teens, adults and couples. She earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Indiana State University and a Master’s in Social Work at IUPUI, focusing on mental health and addiction. Using tailored approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Christine provides a supportive environment where you can explore your feelings and goals.

She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. With several years of experience in hospital and private practice settings, Ashlyn has worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping them process and adjust to life’s unexpected changes.

Morgan is a warm and approachable therapist who brings creativity and empathy to every session, making her clients feel truly seen and understood. With a Master’s in Social Work from IU, Morgan has experience helping adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges and uncover their inner strengths.

While Morgan sees clients with a wide variety of challenges, she specializes in supporting individuals with Depression, Anxiety, ODD, ADHD, and PTSD, tailoring her approach to meet each client's unique needs. Kelsey George, MSW, LSW

Kelsey has immediate openings for daytime/evening. 

Associate Therapist

Kelsey works with children (ages 5+), teens, and adults to address issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, caregiving struggles, life transitions and challenges. Her approach is strength-based and grounded in empathy and respect. She is warm, non-judgmental, and client-centered. Among other therapeutic skills, Kelsey has a passion for grief work, supporting children, teens, and adults as they navigate life transitions such as divorce, breakups, loss of loved ones, loss of pets, changes in school or home, shifts in friendships, and other significant challenges. She also enjoys working with adults who are experiencing caregiving challenges. 

Kelsey provides a supportive space where clients can explore their feelings and develop coping strategies to help improve functioning. She also has experience supporting the LGBTQ+ community and creating an inclusive environment where individuals and families feel valued and understood.

Lauren Scheidler, MSW, LCSW

Lauren enjoys working with children ages 6-12 and adults across the lifespan. Lauren specializes in ADHD, anxiety, anger management, behavior modification, autism, PTSD, self-esteem, trauma, and relationship issues. She also offers support with parenting, stress management, and play therapy.

Lauren's therapeutic approach combines strength-based, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused strategies to help clients achieve their goals. She prioritizes meeting clients where they are and creating a warm, safe space where they feel heard and understood. She believes in fostering effective communication, especially within families, and helping individuals identify and apply coping skills to everyday challenges.

Shelby Jo "SJ" specializes in working with children, teens and adults who struggle with ADHD, Autism, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, anger and body image concerns. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Butler University. She went on to receive her Master's Degree in Social Work from IUPUI. She currently sees clients age 5 and up. In addition to individual sessions, Shelby Jo looks forward to seeing her clients harness their strengths and feel empowered! Krista is the founder and practice manager of Changing Tides Counseling, LLC, as well as a clinical therapist. Her vision in creating Changing Tides was to provide a welcoming, non-judgmental space where individuals—especially those new to therapy—could feel comfortable reaching out, engaging in the process, and embracing healing without fear or hesitation.
