About Me
Lauren Scheidler works with children ages 6–12 and adults across the lifespan, supporting clients with ADHD, anxiety, anger management, behavior challenges, autism, PTSD, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship concerns. She works with children and families, as well as adults navigating stress, life transitions, emotional regulation, and relationship patterns. Lauren understands how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for therapy—whether you’re a parent seeking support for your child or an adult looking for a space to focus on your own growth—and she aims to make therapy feel approachable, supportive, and collaborative from the start.
Lauren brings over a decade of experience in the mental health field, with a background in child welfare and school social work. She has worked closely with children, families, and individuals navigating complex systems and challenges, which has shaped her compassionate, steady approach to care. In addition to her clinical work, Lauren also does consulting, bringing a people-centered perspective to change, problem-solving, and sustainable growth.
Lauren’s therapeutic style blends strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused approaches. She prioritizes meeting clients where they are and creating a warm, safe space where they feel heard and understood. Whether working with a child, a parent, or an adult client, Lauren focuses on building practical coping skills, strengthening communication, and helping clients feel more confident navigating everyday challenges.
Lauren believes therapy should feel supportive, empowering, and tailored to each person’s needs—offering both structure and flexibility as clients work toward meaningful change.
